Didn't Big Black play Il Duce eventually?

No. They played

Cables
Dead Billy
Pigeon Kill
Racer X

I interviewed Santiago Durango a few weeks ago and he told me he didn't really have callouses anymore but that it was ok because "I can still play really fucking loud."

Salut the Biggest Blackest! I have waited 19 years to see you perform live. I mean it, thanks so much for doing it, it was a treat.

Agreed. Great way to start a rainy day. The only thing missing from this weekend was a Tar reunion. Sigh...

I don't. Big Black parted (from what I understand) amicably with Pezzati, but that was not the case with Riley.

Hmm. I'd never heard that. I was just wondering, because, to my mind, all of Big Black's best material was with Riley. I think he's a great bass player; check out "Bad Penny" or "Precious Thing", there's some cool bass on those tunes.

this festival was pure uplift for me. as one of them punk rocker types that never thought that i'd live until 21 (so old!), it thrilled me to see so many other 30-40-50 something people fully engaging in this music and the worldview that surrounds this music. seeing parents bringing their kids into this weird wonderful thing of ours made me grin & grin. having tangible, listenable foot-hurt-able proof that we all can grow old and gray and lumpy without losing our ethics and our joy and our identification with this music and this culture is going to help sustain me through the shitty, lossy, selfdoubting times. salut! to corey and all at the hideout for one of the best and most thorough reminders of what it is that i care about and aspire to live up to.

also -- so good to meet all of you electrical people! as a shy and semi-socially phobic dude, it's unbelievably great to walk into a strange crowd and instantly know people and be able to sustain a conversation without wanting to hide in a port-a-potty.

also -- the didjits fucking slay.
