Anyone ever use anything like this?

I am not even sure I understand it fully, but it seems interesting.


Forgive me if this is already discussed, I find the EA search challenging and it yielded me 6,149 results that seemed all unrelated.

I used to have an account but I got annoyed that it would count songs from stations I listened to in my playlist. Thus, depending on the station's content, people would accuse me of liking things I did not really enjoy but which I had not bothered skipping. Therefore, rather than have someone make fun of me for liking ____ for tthe zillionth time, I deleted my account and stopped listening to last.fm.

Still, it's kind of neat. I'm surprised no one from the forums has put together a station yet.

I am totally hooked on politics these days and only listen to public radio and left leaning talk stations.

This seemed like an interesting way to get me back on track.

Bottomless Pit and the SKWM tribute comp have been helping too.

I've been meaning to give that site a shot.

It helps me from beating coworkers and destroying office equipment.

i've been using it like the whore i am. love it.

once you've used pandora for a while and youve found about 5 great stations and chosen loved tracks along the way, it runs dry and starts playing the same stuff over and over

last.fm has a lot more station variety

that means a lot more crap, but i can't go to pandora anymore

by the way, through theses sites combined, i have probably bought at least 10 cds

i'm not quite sure what their motives are (the people behind it), but i think it's a good idea. it's true as Mandroid says that it's a bit annoying to have to delete tracks you don't want going down on record...
