Gotta say, seeing Scratch Acid live was sort of like a successful one-nighter reunion with a high school sweetheart...I was such a huge fan from the time I was 17, and seventeen years later, after never being able to expect it, I get to see them play live. On, furthermore, what is probably the last time they play ever. I'm still speechless.

For what it's worth, most of the knobs I talked to about it...barely able to keep the warble out of my voice...said something like "twenty bucks?? I wasn't ever really into them. When's RKL doing their reunion?"

It was a good time, meeting fellow EA'rs (thanks for the Sharpie, Pure L!) and reveling in a good show, though tinged with disappointment that Mr. Yow's trousers stayed on the entire evening.

Yow was DJ'ing up there last night.

Wasn't sure if anyone was able to penetrate the white belts and hipster facade in order to see what Yow was spinning. I was curious, but not that curious.
