Seattle Scratch Acid show?

Gotta say, seeing Scratch Acid live was sort of like a successful one-nighter reunion with a high school sweetheart...I was such a huge fan from the time I was 17, and seventeen years later, after never being able to expect it, I get to see them play live. On, furthermore, what is probably the last time they play ever. I'm still speechless.

For what it's worth, most of the knobs I talked to about it...barely able to keep the warble out of my voice...said something like "twenty bucks?? I wasn't ever really into them. When's RKL doing their reunion?"

Fucking idiots.

I summarized Gorch Fock as...
4 Guitarists,
2 Drummers,
1 Bassist
and 1 1/2 trombones.

Honestly, do you suppose he just has a trailer filled with trombones or replacement trombone parts? I saw someone walking off with the carnage of Trombone #1, not sure if he was crew or a fan with a lucky souveneir.

It was a good time, meeting fellow EA'rs (thanks for the Sharpie, Pure L!) and reveling in a good show, though tinged with disappointment that Mr. Yow's trousers stayed on the entire evening.

Did anyone end up crusing to the Cha Cha on Sunday night?

That guy who scored the junk was Grant, the drummer for Bristle.

Why would anyone go to the Cha Cha? To hang out with Kathleen Hanna?

Sorry. Smartass.
