And some enterprising wag has immediately updated Moore's Wikipedia article.

Wikipedia wrote:On 19th September 2006 in the League Cup game against Barnet, Moore scored his first goals for Leeds United, netting twice to lead the team to a 3-1 victory. These goals have put him in line for an almost certain call up to the England Squad for the upcoming fixtures. The prolific striker has scored 2 goals in a year and these stats clearly impress. The chants of "moore moore moore, how d'ya like it, how d'ya like it" will pour round Elland Road and other international grounds for many years to come following this stunning brace against an incredibly strong Barnet side.

That wag wouldn't happen to be one daniel robert chapman would it?

A famous victory for Notts County last night! We conquered the mighty Middlesbrough in the magnificent contest that is the Carling Cup. Yah boos and sucks to you Mr Chapter Two! What with coming down from two behind to win 3-2 at the weekend and holding a respectable play-off place, a good season so far....

He went to bed about a decade ago, or whenever he sold his soul to the bankers and the elites.

That's what happen when you play defensively...
I hope Antonetti will soon be sacked.

I can't let you say this. Nice don't play defensively at all. Nice lack confidence right now. They missed big opportunities to score against Nancy. Antonetti must not be sacked.
I prefer to lose to Nancy than to most of the other French teams because in the French ultra world, there are only two teams we have good relationships with: Lille (DVE) and Nancy (ex-Snipers). Mais ça, la plupart des footix qui supportent Nancy l'ignorent. Y'a que les "vrais" qui le savent.
In Italy, we are friends with Torino (ex-RdM) and Pisa (Sconvolts).

City continue to bathe in glory, managing to overturn a 1-0 lead to lose 2-1 to the mighty Chesterfield.

I don't know which is more wearing - a cracking start to the season, knowing that it will all go bosoms-skyward very very soon, or the (much more common) grinding Christ-we-are-REALLY-shit-this-season(and-we-should know-because-boy-have-we-seen-some-shit-in-the past) feeling.

Like we get a choice...

leeds manager kevin blackwell has been sacked.
i know he has suffered from injuries and lack of funds but i'm still relieved. i seriously don't rate him at all and never have. i really think he lacks basic management skills. still, it does seem a bit harsh considering how well he did last year.

maybe alan curbishley will step in.
we'll see i guess.

I'm glad you raised this tommydski. I'm not quite ready to discuss it properly yet; I really didn't expect it this week. We won, for crying out loud! against Barnet

I'm reserving judgement until I know who the replacement is. That'll be the kicker for me. I think we have differing views on the Blackwell era but I remain impressed by what he did under incredible circumstances, and sure that he'll turn out to be a good, good manager.

I do see why we can't wait for him to turn into that manager, though. Which is why I need to see who comes next. If Blackwell is replaced by a no-mark, I'll be cross. If we get a decent manager, I'll see the reasoning. If we get Dennis Wise, I'll be down Elland Road with a can of petroleum and a box of matches.

No, sir! I had a look at the guy who had done it. He has a ton of warnings for vandalism on there.

Oh. Man. There is no god.

I'm going to kill myself.

(Word in the Evening Post tonight is that caretaker manager John Carver wants the job for himself. Oh, and Bates has cited 'gross misconduct' as the reason for sacking Blackwell. I feel that claim might be to do with Blackwell's contract payoff, and ways that United can weasel out of it.)
