Not all bands are represented. Many pictures are terrible, especially those taken after dark. Some have nothing to do with the festival at all. Comments, especially those that may identify people, are encouraged.

Enjoy.

I think I can be identified by the ridiculous (and yet fashionable) shirt I am wearing in them.
I make music/I also make pretty pictures

That is me in the foreground on the left, with the nascent Franciscan monk bald spot. I wonder if we were introduced, I met so many people that weekend....

I heard this about Mr. Blotto, and their bus, and thought it was too good to be true. I am pleased to see this rumor confirmed.
My guess is that someone in Mr. Blotto comes from money, or makes money in his day job, or something. They can't be buying a bus with Blotto money, can they? Is there a huge underground Blotto following I am not noticing?

Oh, no. This is where you are mistaken. A band like Mr. Blotto makes a ton of cash. Hippy bands and streetfair bands and hacky-sack bands have huge built in fratty fan bases. Trust me, there are a lot more people in Chicago who have seen Mr. Blotto 30 times than have seen Don Caballero once.... and Taste of Wriglyville pays much better than the Empty Bottle.

Isn't it a sad world we live in?
