Who's going to the show tonight? I haven't yet purchased a ticket, I hope it doesn't sell out....or has it already?

I still would've really liked to have seen them this last week, but they played a club I don't go to, promoted by a company I don't support (Mr. Chan Presents, formerly Ritual Entertainment, formerly Clear Channel Entertainment).

When/if they play in the First Avenue Mainroom, I'll go, but the Melvins haven't played there in probably 6 years.

I loved their music when I was in college. When I saw them at the Metro, I thought it was actually fairly boring. That was a good 5 or 6 years ago. I think part of it was the venue. The Double Door is maybe a better size.

You are correct. There were not so many dicks being blown inside the venue.

Minds were being blown. Holy Santa Donkey Ride were they good.

To follow up, there were many dick blows on the street outside.


Plus: Cheers to fine bass player Mr. Doug McCombs, spotted in the audience. Never would have guessed.
