Out here in Orygun, and I'm sure everywhere else in the US, there is another war being fought, in the form of biting license plate commentary ("I'd rather push a Ford than drive a Chevy") and Urinating Calvin stickers. On a drive today from Portland to Bend and back, I saw several declarations of automaker allegiance. Apparently, if you own a Ford pickup, you hate Chevy pickups, and vice versa. I guess this is probably a war that has been fought since the beginning of the pickup, but what is the big deal? Do Ford people actually hate Chevy owners? Or is it all in good-natured fun? And does anyone know the reasons why one truck is better than another? I mean, these days they all seem to do the same thing, right?

I really like Caddyshack(+10), Fletch(+10), and The Three Amigos (+10) but I read that Chevy Chase is an asshole in real life, and then there's Fletch Lives (-30).

Harrison Ford's got Star Wars IV-VI plus the Indiana Jones films going for him, but I haven't liked him in much else.

On balance, Ford by a mile.
