Chinese Food in Chicago

it's a little south of Rogers Park, but Furama on Broadway and Argyle has good dim sum. Guys who don't speak english come around with carts of mystery food and just start pushing it on you.

"is there a vegetarian option?"

"yes, meat!"

"ok... are those dumplings pork or chicken?"

"yes!"

"pork or chicken... which one?"

"yes, meat!"

It's pretty great.

But my favorite chinese food is in, well, Chinatown... a place called Evergreen, all the way at the end of the strip.

I don't know about Chinese, but I have found some great Korean and Vietnamese.

Vietnamese: Tank on the corner of Broadway and Argyle. And New Hoa a few blocks in (try the fried whole fish--yum).

Korean: 3346 W Bryn Mawr. Great BBQ. And The Rice Box on Broadway just north of Diversey (good Bi Bim Bop).

Someone mentioned vegetarian: Alice & Friends (5812 N. Broadway St). I don't even eat Vege and I liked it.
