A friend visited recently and brought some Port Salut, which I'd never had before, a buttery yellow cheese that we ate with spicy Italian salami. Delicioso!

I love cheese. How so many variants on soured and hardened milk exist will never cease to amaze me.

I recently started work at a gourmet food store (that's HEB Central Market for the Texas contingent), where we have a staggering number of cheeses from around the world. But Kraft American singles for me, please, the ones with the little red digeridoos in them.

The only food I like to eat which also smells like feet.

I went to amish country once, and there was a store with about 75 different types of cheeses you could try. From cheddar, to moon cheese, to chocolate cheese. I tried them all.

It was a great day for me.

Pig's trotters. I should imagine that cooking the feet of any beast will produce a feet-like aroma.
