It should certainly be an interesting game, considering both teams have, statistically speaking, two of the worst game seven starters in the history of the game throwing for them.
There are crispy fries waiting to come out of your oven: you just have to make them and put them there.

it's nice to have you aboard. i welcome you as an honorary met fan. enjoy the game.

I honestly don't know many Yankee fans that hate the Mets. Maybe at the time that video was made, but not anymore.

EDIT: Look, Freddie Sez was at last night's game with a pro Mets sign. Plenty of Yankee fans think the Mets are all right.

I can only actively root against the Braves, the Angels, and the Red Sox. Everybody else is OK.

you're right. I'm sure it's not hatred that i perceive from yankees fans so much as it is a kind of big-brother versus little-brother chiding, which is completely understandable.

i myself do not hate any team in the majors. as a lifelong mets fan, i've had to begrudgingly respect the braves, the pirates, the dodgers and others who've thwarted Met success during the first 23 years of my life. now, for perhaps the first time in all those years, i can honestly say that i do NOT respect this saint louis team. "white trash" jeff weaver, "short fielder" (remember that position in little league?) ronnie belliard and david "ball-four-sprint-to-first-base" eckstein irk me. i think scott spezio should have his red imperial and the lower-lip it's attached to ripped from his jaw. plain and simple, the mets were the best NL team this year, and as such they should be playing detroit for the championship.

we'll see tonight if the difference between these clubs is finally realized. it would be a long winter for mets fans if we don't at least win the NL pennant.
