My handwriting (never great) has now deteriorated to such a point that if I'm writing on lined paper, I struggle to keep it all on the lines, even with applied concentration.
Recently, I have also noticed that my hand will skip/omit a letter in a word. This is purely between my brain and my hand - it even happens when I sign my name, which is one of the very few times I actually use a pen these days. To have to go back and amend the spelling of one's own name, oh the surge of pride!

12My hand writing is dreadful.... everything I commit to print is awful.
I tend to miss whole words out of sentences, whether typed or hand written.
When I print I do so in full caps, it is scruffy but I like to think quite stylish, when I try to use lower case print it appears to have been written by a 9 year old.

13I'm actually "known" for my penmanship. It all started in 5th-6th grade...I was just fascinated with printing everything. By the time I was in high school I had an established writing style. I once had a substitute teacher in high school who took one look at my paper and said, "You're a Virgo, aren't you?" This caught me off guard, since I was indeed a Virgo. At first I thought that he was just hitting on me or something, but then he explained to me that, like many Virgos, my quest for perfection is manifested in all kinds of ways...including my handwriting. That led me to do a bunch of research on handwriting analysis. VERY interesting stuff.
The coolest thing though is when people pay me good money to do things like place cards for weddings and such.

Oh, and fuck Mars Volta.

My handwriting is the same, and it is so bad that even I cannot read it sometimes. I will look over my notes written in the darkroom about exposure times, etc. and it is chicken scratch.
I will look through my little moleskine book which I take with me everywhere, looking at things I wrote about a building facade or somesuch, and stare at it for 10 minutes hoping to divine some meaning from it.
I think I need a Rosetta Stone for my own notebooks.

My teachers begged me to write in all capitals. At some point in high school I unconsciously decided to print instead of write. My test scores were high, so no one complained (I guess). I hold my pen strangely...I sort of 'chicken claw' curl around it, and this tends to make my writing tiny. So tiny that it is about the size of actual type size 8 typewriting. I have 'forgotten' how to write in cursive (which was ridiculous with the small writing), except for the signature...which gets more abstract as I get older.

16I have arthritis and my handwriting keep getting worse and worse. And it was really sloppy to begin with.
I remeber in grade school my report cards would be almost straight As except for Ds in handwriting and conduct.

17mine is pretty tagger-y as i used to do that shit back in the old days... it's reasonably artful & legible, albeit in the stylized "urban" blocky way... lots of swoop to my fauxcursive too... good stuff... practiced many hours to stylize my writing - silly.

Same here. I gets the hand cramps real bad when trying to write--years of keyboard usage has taken its toll. Writing more than my signature makes my hand cramp and writing more illegible.

19My handwriting has always been famously good, for whatever reason. I get complimented on it all the time. I tend to write in a measured, flowing cursive, the quality of which depends on whether or not I'm rushing.

20I recently started writing capital letter G differently. Just the G.
