You are correct, good sir. By far my favorite anthrax release. "Indians"? C'mon! That song fucking kills me! CRY CRY CRY FOR THE INDIAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANNS DIE FOR THE INDIAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANNNS!!

Of the one about the Judge Dredd comic books (which is why Dylan likes it) or the two (or three) Steven King songs (Skeletons and Among).

Retarded brilliance.

yeah, seriously, are there not 3 movies that came out after that album that are all based on the same stories as those songs are?

remember danny's jackson V with the teenage mutant ninja turtles on it? then that shit broke bigtime, too. those kids were so ahead of the curve...

Cross Rhythms editor Tony Cummings commented, "It's wonderful news about the conversion of Nicko McBrain but also somewhat ironic. Back in the '80s and '90s all these books from evangelicals were appearing denouncing the music of heavy rock bands like IRON MAIDEN, ANTHRAX and MEGADETH as 'satanic'. Now in the last couple of years we've seen IRON MAIDEN's Nicko McBrain, ANTHRAX's Daniel Spitz and MEGADETH's Dave Ellefson all become Christians! Thankfully, some Christians were praying rather than playing the Pharisee."

to the devil and the evangelicals alike, i say TAKE THAT! MUHUHAHAHAAAAA!

Thank you, Kerble, for mentioning "Indians," a song I heard very often during the summer of '87, and which pops into my brain from time to time and stays for long periods. I always kind of liked Anthrax's very Ramones-ish "chumps from Long Island" persona. I once sat behind Scott Ian on a Midwest Express flight from New York to Milwaukee. I thought that was funny.

You know, nobody believed me, but Anthrax's "Safe Home" was one of my favorite songs of 2003. I have no idea what the album it's from sounds like--I'm guessing not so great. But seriously--I love this song. It's crazy FM power pop, like a Foo Fighters song, except I've never heard a Foo Fighters song that's this good, except maybe that "there goes my hero" one. I even love the Loverboy-ass keyboard-sounding bass at the beginning.

One crap Anthrax moment: their ultra-earnest "Bring the Noise" duet with Chuck D.

why is this crap? i recently read an (old) interview with chuck d where he said that the tour with anthrax was his favorite.

I didn't get the "earnest" part, either. They're fans, sure, so it's faithful - but it's pretty goofy, too.

By the way, "Efilnikufesin" seems to be about a specific person but I've not really figured it out. Any theories?

The album is 'We've Come For You All'. For mine it's the best Anthrax album since 'Persistance Of Time'. Not a bad song on it, and the last track is a Ramones cover. How can you go wrong?
