1Is anyone here able to give me any kind of feedback on Zon basses because I've been contemplating the possibilities of procuring one of these.

2Only things I know about Zon basses...
1) The bassist from Coroner was playing a Zon Scepter (Sceptre?) back in the late 80's and he played super-fast stuff
2) They're expensive as hell

Can you play it before you buy it? To see if it plays well and sounds good?

Zon Basses
3they make the Zon Hyperbass, the Michael Manring bass... they are mostly "boutique" basses, with grainy beatiful woods and ridiculous prices. They probably sound beatifully too, but probably not for everyone - and not probably for fans of fender precision basses.
