weren't they resurected?
or maybe you're saying the curent don cab is not don cab at all, due to the lack of original members.

edit: or suckiness of their music.

edit#2: not that i think new don cab sucks, but i heard some very negative opinions about them.

It's the drummer from Don Cab and his new band.

It's like calling Shellac Riflesport.

That's silly.

The only consistant Don Cab member has been Damon Che. Guitarists and bass players have come and gone.

And apart from the fact that Damon Che is/was Don Cab, I find the new record to be the best Don Cab release since 'The Lucky Father Brown'.

People we wanted but couldn't get when we curated:

Jud Jud
AC/DC
DEVO
Robert Wyatt
the Dead C

There were a couple others I don't remember. We got almost everybody else we wanted. You guys should take a shot at a couple of these.

the Dead C are playing at the Thurston Moore's ATP soon. I'm really gutted I couldn't afford a ticket.

I went to the Slint show one was thoroughly disappointed by everyone except Deerhoof.

I went to the Slint ATP too. I thought Deerhoof was really crap. You didn't like the Melivins? Slint? Mogwai? Matmos?

It'll certainly be interesting to see what sort of thing fills the less desirable slots of the 'Fans' ATP.

Hopefully some smaller UK bands I guess.
