Dude they totally dubbed that in. I heard him talking, and his lips weren't even moving.

Maybe he's a vantriloquist racist....

I don't know. I'd like to see the rest of the show. There's no excuse for talking during a performance.

Would you like to see the whole video of King getting kicked the shit out of him by the cops so you can see it from a better perspective?

Typical apologists.

I'm having the same problem b/c of no ActiveX plugin for Mozilla 2.0 Anyone have a link to the video elsewhere?

I just bit it and went ahead and downloaded the plugin. If it eats my computer, well, I had a good run.

Don't bother if you don't feel like, the video's hardly worth it. The audio sucks, and the accompanying subtitles are unreadable too. It's probably YouTubed by now anyway.

Mark Lansing wrote:Part of me wonders of Richards was going for the Lenny Bruce effect -- "let's say the forbidden word and show how silly and pathetic it is" -- but if he was, he failed miserably. He just comes off sounding like he's crazy, pissed-off and maybe a little loaded. A little sad, but mostly just fucked-up.

At the beginning of the clip, he does seem to be riffing on things that can't be said. When a clip starts abruptly during a comedy routine, it's hard to know whether he's speaking in character, in quotation marks, etc. (Look at how the Drudge Report edited Clinton's interview with Fox ("Clinton's Fury"), Howard Dean's speech , etc.) There's no context for what leads into the lynching line. Richards could be wasted and/or racist, but it would be easier to tell with more footage.

It told me it wanted to install a plugin, and I just ignored it. And it played the video just fine. Maybe that's because I'm using IE?

Also, if you want to be able to see it, and hear it, and read the subtitles just fine, go to the preferences and click the highest bandwidth/quality setting. Then it looks good. Well, stupid, but good definition.
