Jinx!

I was just listening to A Child's Guide to Good And Evil as I clicked on this thread.

Take my hand and run away with me
Through the forest until the leaves and trees slow us down
A vampire-bat will suck blood from your hands
A dog with rabies will bite us
Rats will run up your legs, but nothing will matter

Freaky.

Actually, I think A Child's Guide is better. But yeah, it's pretty freaky. Above-average late 60s west coast Psychedelic pop. A friend lent me a few of their records and they're pretty infectious.

Turns out the band has a rather dark, tortured history - according to wikipedia.

Zebulon Pike - And Blood Was Passion

All instrumental. Strange mix of heavy, downtuned psychedelia, doom, angular jazzy/mathy bits, and flat-out groove.

I think i should put this on the EA Gmail account and see what you guys think.

NB: They have a song on their self-titled EP called "Umlaut Overdose." I love that.
