this is what i meant by "exacerbate." my point is, the acid would obviously have an effect; but it's not going to be the prime mover, as my roommate suggests. i suppose i illustrated the context poorly. my bad. but if you're summarizing the Daniel Johnston story to someone, the acid shouldn't be the first thing you mention. that's all i was trying to say.
