Little details from your day

This last weekend (sat night) I went to my, uh, ladyfriend's birthday party. True to art school, it was a "greaser" party. I wore her clothes, and shaved one of my legs. Cut the toes out of some heels...

This is me and her. Note my other friend with the Queers patch. Funny because the non cross dressing dudes are a couple. Isn't that sweet? Note also the matching nails:

"Heineken?! Fuck That! Pabst Blue Ribbon!"

So the detail from today is that I got the pictures back, I'm driving to wyoming in three or four hours and I removed all the polish to aviod some 'fag' questions in ultra-homo-friendly wy.

I've seen uglier women before, and you are quite svelt. Take 85 up to WY and stop by, I'm about to make some home fries.

I was in hospital for teaching today, and we were shown an echocardiogram (ultrasound image of the heart). We were asked what we could see. I wanted to say 'A vagina playing the drums'. Turns out it was a mitral valve.

You live and learn.....

PS who's the coolest person in the hospital?

The ULTRASOUND guy!

I saw Honeyisfunny's band, Lords, tonight in Sunderland. They fucking rocked! None of my friends who I went with had heard them before and they all gave the thumbs up. Salut Lords!

I don't really know how it all works yet, but there's some music on it.

I like the Winter Sun one. And another friend of Pete Dale's....

Thank you Johnnyshape! Pete Dale is in my eyes a great bloke. His band used to stay at my place in Boro in the early nineties as my housemate's band (Golden Starlet / International Strike Force) were on Slampt Records, and later his band Red Monkey - who were awesome - came and played a benefit gig I helped organise in London for Reclaim The Streets. Pete is a good bloke. Check out his new band, Chronicity.

I've avoided myspace for a long time, but within the last week I've talked to people who I haven't come into contact with for ages, and people have heard my scruffy demos. I think it's alright, myself.
