Yes! I like it a lot. "A lot"? I remember when my English teacher told me to find something else to write whenever I got an urge to write "a lot." So what should I say when "a lot" doesn't have the power?
No creativity.
I like the mic if I want a bright sound. It doesn't have the wincing transient response that a good Altec 175 has on the snare, but I like it a lot.

I've used both the ksm 141 and the c42 about the same number of times. I get more low mids with the shure mic than the c42. More "whoomp" than "piff"
These are terms which I like to come up with while watching the movie X2.
The ksm141 is a bit more handy with the multiple patterns and attenuator. The c42 can get around any hi-hat stand or tom to get the good placement + it has the brightness I like.
