Last night, after Carolina beat Ohio State, we ended up at Goodfellows. It was karaoke night. I'd been averse to karaoke night until a few weeks ago, when I got roped into "Carolina in my Mind" (a staple around here) just before last call. It was fun enough, so this time, I rounded up a couple guys for "Sultans of Swing," which I now realize is damn near impossible to sing if you haven't heard the song before, which Brian somehow hadn't. A comedy of errors ensued. It was awesome.

I went to the Asian market (with mr.abcgroupdocumentation) on our lunch break and made some great korean food when we got back. Good way to start your belly off right....

I badly need for there to be a Christian comedian named Richard Prayor.

yeah. that would be fucking sweet. Though I can't decide weather he'd make millions off of christians or alienate the shit out of them.

went for a beer with my friend last night. stayed 'til closing eyeballing the barmaid and talking about music.

i slept through the hangover today.

worked on my resume.

emailed some songs to people. a nick cave bootleg from 84 to one, and the tortoise and the ex: in the fishtank to my drinking buddy.

played my bass a lot. worked on songs taking in mind the critique i heard from the night before.

looked up the lyrics to hendrix's "burning of the midnight lamp."

learned to play the guitar/harpsichord intro on my bass.

and took the two musical tests someone posted earlier today. thanks to the one who did that, i love things like that.
buy my guitar. now with pictures!
