Why did I type that? Wrong album, third track on WBNR: Delivering the Groceries.

Don Cab still delivered the groceries when I saw them recently. Damon's gained about 30 lbs since I saw them two years ago, though.

I concur. I have seen their new incarnation twice, and they are better than when they were a 3 piece. The drums have always been the highlight for me. The new guys play the guitars with more passion than Ian, and they play all the parts correctly. Their new material (World Listening Party) is better than American Don.

I think the best they were was in 97 or 98 when I saw them before Banfield quit. The band just had so much energy and enthusiasm. I remember Damon had a fully stocked bar behind his drum kit, and he blew a giant fireball while the guitars were playing unaccomapanied..

I saw Don Cab Thursday night... fucking terrible.

I loved that band, but the new guitarist is terrible, the bass player may as well not have been there...

The original band was nutty, but still had a coherence to it, what I saw was wank.

My girlfriend walked out after 3 songs, me and my friend has slightly more patience and stuck out another thirty minutes...

Awful.

Believe me I wish it was good, I really wanted to be blown away. My girl loves Don Cab II and WBNR... but she tried to leave after one song.
