working in the us

if i'd like to work in the states -no matter what- i would have to get a green card/ work permit. is this right? (yes---)
like, i wanna do freelancing jobs there and have to write bills...

if i don't have a place to live i can't get a job. do i have to be a resident first for a certain amount of time in order to make my way as a freelancer? in official terms...

how is this regulated?

i used to be a dishwasher already in tucson, az....but (can i say that...???)
i worked for my aunt

thanks for answering.

Nothing porn about it (unfortunately?)

Anyone who wants to work on the east end of Long Island from April to October contact me.
You'll need a clean drivers license and experience cleaning swimming pools is of course a plus, but not necessary. It's pretty hard work at the beginning, but smooth sailing come June.

I have a nice mobile analog setup that will be up and running in a couple weeks here, so we could get involved in recordings on the off hours. (usually Sat - Tues)

never thought I'd be using an audio forum for pool talk..

p.s. - yes, they're all froze up now in winter - makes for good business winterizing pools and a good winter off playing with microphones and such.
