In Utero bonus track

I just listened to In Utero and at the end after a whole shitload of blank space, at 23:59 a song started playing that I've never heard before. This is weird. It's Tutku's copy, which is of non-US origin. But it's a normal copy of In Utero, silkscreening and whatnot, in all respects but this extra song, from what I can tell. He said something about "Rubbing Alchohol", which I saw mentioned in another thread here.

So what, Nirvana penalized Americans!?!? WTF?!?!

I bought my copy before they "blew up", so it's one of the very first pressings. From what I remember, when the CD was mastered (the first time), the guy doing the mastering didn't realize that there was a hidden track on it, so it was accidentally cut off.

So, I can sympathize with your pain.

Same here. I was pissed at the time, but now it's no big deal.

I found my in-store promotional mobile the other day while cleaning. It has the swimming baby, etc. but his penis is missing.

Why is his penis missing? Because my roommate in college CUT IT OFF. She couldn't deal with seeing a photo of a baby penis.

She had also vandalized my Pixies "Gigantic" poster (also a naked baby) by magic-markering out the baby penis.

The funny part of this is/was that said roommate was a cage dancer at Limelight, as well as being one of the biggest sluts on campus.

Justin from Queens might remember her, and what a bitch she was. She drove me insane.

This has been a "reminisce with Jodi" post.

I thought Nevermind had it on the old ones, but not the newer ones! Huh! Mine had it. I got it in 1990 or 91, I think. "Endless, Nameless", right? I remember finding it on accident one night, back in highschool, the same as I just did with this In Utero song. Those whacky Nirvanas, and their hiding of weird music on their otherwise-not-particularly-weird albums!

I always kind of liked the Matthew Sweet song on that CD too.

Glynis is an awesome song. I remember it being the song that made me stop listening to Q101 back in the day. The DJ cut it off before it ended (near the end with all the feedback) and said, "That's the worst ending to any song...now time for the best beginning to any song." That song? The one Elastica had that ripped off Wire's Two Girl Rumba. I can't remember the name of it because I hated it.

...so, I was doing a search for the song title and I came across a forum. Check out this gem:

The answer to this douche's question is right here.

Anyway, I remember the Uncle Tupelo song being pretty good, as well as Pavement's. I would assume the Breeders was good, I can't recall. I always listened to that album for Glynis and Laundry Room.
