I seem to remember there being a 98 Degrees photo shoot a few years back where all the guys were rocking MotorheaD shirts. Whatever....we've covered this stuff before.

But this here Germs biopic. Holy hell, does it look terrible. They should've just made one of those inspired-by movies like "Grace of My Heart" or "Boogie Nights."

I saw the shane west germs at the beat kitchen this summer. For some reason, Shane West was singing from a normal vocal mic, but it had the CBS-2 newscaster cube kind of thing on it, like he was getting ready to go on location and read off a story. It wasn't until halfway through the set that Pat Smear decided to take it off. Weird.

If you want to know about the Germs, read the Feral House book. I think the same company is actually putting out an actual documentary about the band.

I don't know the guy and haven't seen the film , but he's actor ...there suppose to "ACT"... it's not a reflection on the guy personally.

All the Actors I know would jump at the chance to be in a feature film....You grab what you can, its only when a actor establishes him/herself that they have the luxury to pick and choose which films they appear in.

For what it's worth, that movie about the Germs, What We Do Is Secret, had its world premiere recently at the Los Angeles Film Festival. You can look at the film festival's listing here.

Variety has reviewed the film; they seemed to think it was OK, but I don't sense the critic was someone with a massive background in punk rock.

I guess most people have seen the Decline of Western Civilization documentary. That has quite a big Germs section to it. Surely all you'll ever need.
