And a nice chorus of a dog-like sparky.

I'm surprised there haven't been any votes for MBV yet, I was thinking of just sticking them on to see what happened.

Well, I've just bought a 7 berth from all tomorrow's real estate. However, I think the rigging of votes will cost me more than a 7 berth.

Trying to think of the other bands I want to see. Is that re-incarnation of the magic band still going? Surely ATP would be able to persuade them if anyone can.

Quite accurate I thought.

Or you could just clit this link.

Why go to all that effort, when you could have looked it up online!

Someone mailed it to me - I just hit the 'forward' button.

'All that effort' indeed. Do you wipe your own bum?

Why bother? Your mother does a fine job.

With her tongue.

You could put fast and bulbous down- its Gary Lucas again but doing original stuff in the beef heart/magic band style. They're ace, Gary is a dude.

Well, I for one took a rather nasty punch round the chops after asking an extremely wired, unpleasant chap to fuck off after trying to ignore him confronting me throughout the Wolf Eyes set, demanding to know how I could "watch this shite".

I had a great weekend, mainly due to the music. Having said this, the lack of a central hub meant it was difficult to keep track of friends. I can't think of a reason for the queues. They were round the block for six organs when I ducked out but the venue was half full.

The main problem I could see was that at least 3/5s of the people there were for the brand, a trendy place to go and get fucked up for the weekend. I'm not gonna be a killjoy, but the draw of ATP originally was to watch great music with like-minded people, and that has been lost.

If it wasn't for the amazing bill, I would have had a terrible time. I doubt it's ever gonna be that good again, so I'll say farewell ATP, we had some fine times.

yeah, i'm of the mind that the yeah yeah yeahs need to be shipped to some remote island... i absolutely hate those bands that are specifically designed for cross over appeal - like as if they're doing the underground artists a service by giving them new recruits..

i read somewhere on the internet that they had some kind of no-wave performance or show/tribute thing in new york.. and that members of DNA were there... but then they had to go and make a highlight of the fact that members of the yeah yeah yeahs were in the audience... they graced us with their presence.. probably had front row seats.... yuk... i absolutely have no confidence that the yeah yeah yeahs have any clue what no-wave is... that's a mjor fuckin insult to me.. they are the anti-thesis of no-wave.. and i have no clue why sonic youth tolerates them...

Snob.
My experience of ATP is the dickheads come no matter what, I met as many pricks at the Shellac ATP as at The Shins, Mogwai or the YYYs. What experience I have of the YYYs is totally positive both as a band and as people.
