Depends on how much money you make. For me, I wouldn't do it. I know way too many friends who have been married, are now divorced, and paying child support and alimony... Plus, their wives turned nasty almost immediately after marriage. I don't know how this happens!

For that kind of money, they could have outsourced their needs to really hot professional women. I mean, way hotter than their nasty looking and nasty acting ex-wives...

But out of desperation, they got married, and now they are broke, depressed, and miserable.

I'm thinking of breaking up with my girlfriend right now, just because it's the same deal. Nag, nag, nag, nag, bj, nag, nag, nag, nag, gimme some money, buy me this and that, wear this Cosby sweater, nag, nag, why doesn't your dog like me, nag, nag...

I'm on the road to divorce. Our 9th aniversary was yesterday. We've been separated for almost a year.

We've been getting along better since our separation. One thing, you start focusing on the good times--not the times you felt trapped. She left, I want a divorce, she doesn't. It makes no sense to me. Still, I remember how sweet she was with our animals, and her resemblance to a young Dyan Cannon, and singing children's songs in the morning.

I'm mixed up. I really have no opinion on this subject, as the pros and the cons seem to balance out. Damned if you do, damned if you don't.

Truly, one of the great mysteries of life.

I couldn't agree more.Women are indeed self-seeking individuals.
You should marry your chiwawa.

i'm simply not fit to be married.

too childlike and unpredictable.

could defintiely see being a stay at home dad though, taking kids to the museum while she brings home the bacon. a sugar momma/spouse-benefactor would be lovely. i'd probably put up with a lot more shit that way: "yes dear... i understand... no, that doesn't sound unreasonable..."

I will keep this checklist handy for when the time is right.

I got married 6 years ago and the divorce finally came through last month. We wanted different things, it turned out. Should have realised this sooner, but I was young and stupid and drunk. This will always be the single biggest regret of my life. It makes me sad whenever I think about it.

NOT CRAP if you know what you're doing.

CRAP if you're young, stupid and drunk and getting married to convince yourself and everyone you know that you're all grown up.

i think marriage is a great thing if you find the right person to do it with. i'm too fucking young and stupid to even consider getting married at this stage but at least i'm smart enough to realise that i'm too fucking stupid to get married this young.

its supposed to mean something or everything and it does to me. people who get married cos the girl is up the duff are devaluing the institution. pre-nups are ridiculous and an insult.
