Agreed. Also Chavo was a great singer for this band as well.

Black Flag is still a fav some 25 years later.

As undeniably great as I find Damaged to be, Jealous Again, my intro to the band circa '82, is nearly perfect in every way.

I even like My War.

After that I still own Slip it In and Loose Nut, but I can't find a reason to listen to them.

Who doesn't like "TV Party"? They earn a NC just for the song & video.

At least they can still elicit a strong response nearly 20 years after breaking up.

Yeah Black Flag was great. Pettibone's artwork was great, Ginn's disgusting guitar playing was great and the darkly funny songs were great.

I love quite a bit of their material, I'm suprised no-one mentioned Process of weeding out! What a king hell head-ache of a record this was, surely inspiring a whole legion of bands to experiment into that whole 'math' type genre. Amazing stuff.

They never were a musical band as much as they were a blast of pure energy band. It's pretty easy to see why people miss that while they're waiting for the big hooky chorus that never comes.

I don't understand why I need this sub-par band for all the things you guys are mentioning when I have minor threat.
