okay...........i'm fucking trying, i mean REALLY trying. what's the deal with the Royal Trux? i just picked up (my first exposure to them) "Thank You."

this record sucks! and really bad. ya know, i dig neil's new stuff so i figured i'd try some RX. Bad choice. So why am i being a dick and making a forum out of this issue?

well, it seems that drag city is quite spot on for the most part. i don't get this though. i know they put a lot of shit out by this band. so...someone tell me, does all of their stuff have such lame vocals? this jennifer lady is just plain bad. hhhmmmm...

ladies and gents, was it cooler back in the day? should i have seen this live?

please advise. let me know if there's a better recod that i should base my assessment on, rather than this one.

word.

Miss Herrema has recently spouted some pro-bush/anti-feminist nonsense in The Wire. However, her new solo album (under the name RTX) is the bee's knees. Oh yeah, she looks like an absolute freak too. (died blonde hair, eyebrows and eyelashes. She looks like Johnny/Edgar Winter!)

I think it's perfectly natural to not 'get' Royal Trux at first. My first exposure was Cats And Dogs, which is still probabaly my favorite, and a totally classic record. Thank You was the major label one...... I still like it, but it's one of my less favorite. Get Cats And Dogs.

I really like Jennifer's vocals. Sure it's put on, but all rock is. I saw them live a couple times and it was pretty amazing. I'm luke warm on the RTX record.

Pound For Pound was the last full-length and I think it's damn near their best.

i’m sad. i used to have the biggest crush on jennifer the whole time she was in the trux. big glam glasses, hair, lips for miles and total attitude. but last night i was reading the new Arthur magazine and there she is with her new “look.â€
