2000 Suzuki GS500E, all stock. Simple, durable, easy-to-work-on engine design. First bike I've owned, had it for about a year and a half, and it's feeling a little underpowered. Suggestions for a next bike are welcome.

Sonicsabateur: I love the F650. Such a great sound, the single cylinder.

I love the look of naked bikes, but the wind at 70mph isn't a lot of fun for more than a little while.

Thanks! I love it. It's loud as hell. The wheels are all powdercoated with new stainless spokes. The rear is a 16" 150...new Dunlop GT501 tires front and back. The tank is a rebuilt (and slightly modified) tank off of a '74 750...which is just a little over 4 gallons.

I've been trying to find a picture of my last bike, a Yamaha XT350 that got twisted in a head on collision.

All I could find was me on my uncle's bike. This is the sort of shit I grew up around - an Indian.

I also have a 1972 Honda XL250 and Trail 90.
I was given a 1982 Yamaha 50cc 2-stroke "cruiser" style tiny motorcycle last summer. It's crazy, a scaled-down bike with sissy-bar and everything, tiny little motor. Crazeeee.

No breakdowns with the Norton. As for the BSA, that really hasn't been ridden much since I got the Norton years ago but I've kept it since it's my first motorcycle.

Riding in the city is a real challenge and pretty much a bummer. Talk of paralysis really spooks me out and is the one thing that makes me wonder if I should save my riding for out in the sticks where I get the most enjoyment out of it.

Sorry about your friend and hope he has a full recovery.

I am sad to say I have never ridden a motorcycle. I plan on rectifying this someday.
