Hella have some quite interesting structures, even pop like structures in some of their songs :/

No ones recommended Polvo :/

Pele are kinda sometimes math, but a great band anyway
Sleeping People
Rumah Sakit
Sweep The Leg Johnny
Tarentel
Storm & Stress
Oxes
Orthrelm (if you like that crazy shit)
Drive Like Jehu
Del Rey
Godzik Pink
Grand Ulena
Uzeda
Bozart
Turing Machine
The Ladies

Although some are not necessarily 'Math' Still worth checking out

Are English Math Rock bands pretty much non existent?

Maybe someone can help me.

A couple of years ago, while ordering Hold Your Horse Is from the Frenetic website I stumbled onto a review of another mathy band called Mechakucha. The review described their sound something along the lines of little electrical storms inside your headphones. I was intrigued and I ordered the record on a whim. I was not disappointed.

Since then I have been finding it difficult to learn anything about this band. Do they have a new release I could purchase? Do they even still play? All mysteries that google cannot solve for me.

Any information would be appreciated.

Man, that "Killing Time," that's a great record right there. Splintered, spastic, swinging. There are enough ideas on that thing to last a career. Was that a one-off 'project' or did they record something else?

They recorded some other stuff, but 'Killing Time' is by far the best. In my opinion.
