"What incredibly stupid lyrics!" I said to myself as I tried to unlearn the English language as rapidly as possible. I got as far as the "looking like something that the cat brought in" part before, you know, j'aurais toujours faim de flat saxophone.

It's always you that ends up getting wet, isn't it?

Which is weird, because it's clearly a big enough umbrella.

I heard Stewart Copeland interviewed by Steve Jones on Jonsie's radio show a few months back. That was pretty good. SC called Jones on stealing a hat from his house back in the 70s.

Anyway, Police, NC. Stewart Copeland, prolly the favored drummer of my youth. Stole SO many of his tricks. 'When the World is Running Down.' Such a swanky rocking swing to that one.

I did like the cover of "Omega Man" that Dis- did at a Uzeda / Dis- / Dianogah show I attented 11 years ago though.

11 years ago? Holy fuck...

Oh man, they played that at the Bard show on the Dis-/Uzeda/Shellac tour. Fuck it, I'm fucking old.

Take me to the dogtrack, I'm gone.
I make music/I also make pretty pictures

Really?

Man, I don't think the lyrics are bad at all.

I mean, other than rhyming "in" and "in."

Sting has written some shitty lyrics in his day, but not that one.
