Hahaha. You have a point there. That is a weird, tinny sounding record. I like SM-57/58s, but I wouldnt make a record that sounds like those were the only mics I used. That waveform is just hilarious though. Big ol' square waveforms are good if the music you're making is overly harsh, but its luaghable when its the chilli peppers.
They are a very horrendous band, and I think the production on My Chemical Romance's new album is 'god-awful'. Some in-house label engineer made that record sound like ass.
