Little details from your day

Hi,
I've been lurking off and on for a few years. I posted under a now-forgotten name, and this thread motivated me to sign up again.

Today:

I discovered my love for Tejano music, as it's the only station I can pick up in the warehouse. It goes well with a snack-sized fruit cup.

I was ahead of schedule on my way to work, so I decided to grab a drive-thru breakfast. I was fifteen minutes late to work.

I found out my mother's cancer is all but gone, and a quick surgery should take care of that which remains.

So yeah, some little details are a little bigger than others.

ps. Does anyone know where I could buy a Slint hoodie? I only have about 40 bucks.

Is that sponged on?

That would have been allot easier.

I had to pull 22 year old wall paper off and then seal the dry wall (2 coats, it had never been sealed). Then I put a coat of light orange down and let it dry. Then I made a 4 to 1 mix of slow dry glaze and a darker orange. As I painted the darker glaze over the light orange, I pulled it off with many disposable paper rags. Hey, I'm off of work for 11 days, why not?

Now my bathroom matches my Ludwig drum kit. That's pretty badass.

I wish, Redline, I wish! It's given up for now, leaving pathetic patches of ice. Perhaps overnight it'll happen, and I'll wake tomorrow to snowy joy. The Glossop scene on Sunday was lovely, in a sudden mid-afternoon style - it took about twenty minutes to make the drive home scary and tough, and the landscape snow-swept and great.

Damn this climate change!

It's thin at the moment but the night is set to get colder; I think winter arrives in Leeds tomorrow. I had my first snow of this winter in Glossop at the weekend just past, and I'm ready for more. We got it yesterday; I awoke at seven and didn't realise until just before I left the house in the dark that everything was covered in clean white snow. When the sun came up we wrapped up and walked the dog around the beautiful big cemetery near my house, then went and ate steaks in a warm bright pub.
