so........I'm in the market for a pair of these guys. Audio Technica has discontinued the pro 37r but now sells something called the pro 37......
anybody know the difference between these 2 mics? what the hell does "r" stand for?

The only difference I can find is that the new ones are 11 grams lighter than the R's. But still the same physical dementions. Kind of strange.

All the other specs and freq responce curves are identical.

Strange. Maybe someone else will have more helpful info.
