I find them boring.

I have no recollection of how, but I somehow ended up with the EP they put out a few summers ago. There is a track on it called "Kissing Families" that is way too catchy for its own good--I think it was permanently lodged in my skull for the month subsequent to the purchase. Coincidence or fate dictated that a lot of good things happened to me when that song was playing, so that song gets a Not Crap. It also reminds me of the bedroom recordings I made in high school, but with better vocals.

The rest of the EP was exhaustingly dull, so they are in the end a Crap band. Shady marketing tactics notwithstanding.

I wish... I REALLY like the band.

They are on some Warner subsidiary... which we are not affiliated with.

My boss likes the record too... which is weird he usually hates this kind of stuff.

I'm telling you guys there's something good in there... and it fucking grows on you.

I like Carnavas. I'm not really prone to this kind of sing songy stuff myself, but this is good. Nice guitar work.

that's exactly what I said after hearing the radio at work play the shit out of them all fucking day....LA has a band that sounds like the smashed dumplings. and they suck too, by the way.

Their 2 singles both have fantastic guitar hooks, what more can a man ask for?

I don't judge bands by where they are from or their inner business dealings.

Oh and for the first 3 weeks hearing them I thought the singer was a grrrlll

i like a few songs...lazy eye, kissing families, well thought out twinkles, little lovers so polite...of course those are the four songs they put on their myspace page because the rest are kind of blah to me...those songs aren't great or anything but theyre tolerable...they do sound like a watered down gish-era pumpkins cover band at times...which is odd because they have a female bass player and what appears to be a hawaiian in the band...maybe they were originally a pumpkins tribute band or something?
