They are fun to play.

You do this too, or is it just me?

Because they're fun to play? Seems pretty obvious to me.

Why so aggressive? Go on, give us a kiss, holmes.

Occasionally I like to bring out the riffs for "Crazy Train" by Ozzy Ozbourne and Randy Rhoads. . . but I can't really consider this a terrible song, though some other people look at me cross eyed when I play it. It sure is a lot of fun to play.

Ooh. "Ain't Talking About Love" is another fun riff to play. But once again, everyone threatens to unplug the guitar. No accounting for taste apparently.

As a bass player I can get away with playing all kinds of awful, cheesy riffs on guitar. So here's my "nobody's listeneng" riffs:

Photograph (Def Leppard)

Owner Of A Lonely Heart (Yes)

I Believe In A Thing Called Love (The Darkness)

All these are primarily the intro licks. Don't care much to nail the rest of the songs but I like identicating the guitar-only sound those songs start off with.
