DO NOT TELL ME AGAIN THAT THE CAUSE OF AUTISM HAS BEEN DEFINED.

I will.

The defintion of "cause of autism" is.
Definitions of cause on the Web: "events that provide the generative force that is the origin of something"
Definitions of autism on the Web: "brain disorder that begins in early childhood and persists throughout adulthood; affects three crucial areas of development: communication, social interaction, and creative or imaginative play."

How hot is that glass pipe in your hand? You have confused symptoms and cause yet again. I KNOW the criteria for an autism diagnosis. What you cannot tell me is what PRODUCED those symptoms.

You didn't ask for that, you said there was no defintion of the cause of autism. I showed there was

Happy?

Did I ASK you for a def-i-ni-tion??????? CAUSE! Look, if a brain with autism is like billiard balls on a table after the break, I need to know what the POOL CUE looks like! You are not describing the cause when you tell me shit like, "Look at all those balls flying around, that's autism".

Yes you did ask for a definition

And you are the JREF autism expert? You're worse than their 9/11 experts.

So you now admit that i have no link to the industry? does that mean you will start arguing against my evidence?

I notice that you didn't argue against my evidence. I take this as proof that you can't argue against it and that i am correct and you just won't accept defeat.

I notice that you chose to make a personal attack which does nothing except making you look like insecure little boy that don't know how to behave.

NOTE: To anyone watching this ... discussion .. or rather these stupid personal attacks, please don't get me wrong above, I'm not claiming, nor have i ever claimed, that mercury isn't toxic and very bad, I'm just saying that it doesn't cause autism.

I AM NOT ARGUING THAT THE CASE IS CLOSED! You are! I am arguing that mercury in vaccines belongs on the list of potential contributing causes of autism. I am arguing for CONTINUED STUDIES!

I have shown a lot of studies showing there is no link. There have been made plenty of studies that show that mercury is NOT the causation of autism.

clocker bob wrote: Follow this: until you can define the cause of autism, it is a display of bias to discard known neurological agents.

I have defined the cause of autism. Look, I'll do it again.

which means the definition of autism can be defined as "events that provide the generative force that is the origin of a brain disorder that begins in early childhood and persists throughout adulthood; affects three crucial areas of development: communication, social interaction, and creative or imaginative play."

No, I asked for a cause and you provided a definition of what autism looks like. You are high.

No, you asked for a definition

Yes, of the cause, not of the symptoms.

No, you asked for "the definition of the cause of autism", it is really quite clear.

You have been soundly trounced, interloper. If you could define the cause of autism, please save the US government $945 million dollars. You see, our scientists are all confused. They're still looking for the cause. I tried to tell them that TobiasTheCommie has defined the cause, and they should put their money away, but they told me, "No, Tobias has defined the symptoms. He is useless to us. We still need more research."

The causes and etiology of autism are an area of debate and controversy. There is as yet no consensus, and researchers are studying a wide range of possible causes. In December 2006 the U.S. Senate approved legislation that will spend $945-million over five years on research into the causes of autism.

You aren't asking me for the etiology, you are asking me for the definition of "the cause of autism" which i have provided.

Not to you apparently, because you provided a definition of the symptoms of autism, and not of the cause.

Look, pal, Bob has some pancakes and a movie waiting for him. Post fifty more posts that display your misunderstanding of the word 'cause'. I will be back before sundown to straighten you back out.

I already appologized for that and said "sorry, i read your question wrong" after you pointed out that i gave you a link to the symptoms. So why bring this up again

Well, OK, if you can't argue with my data just run away. I'll be waiting here if you ever want to really discuss this issue and get somewhere instead of just attacking me.
