Ooh-er, apparently one of the Leeds squad gave Palace the team sheet before the match. Much good it did them but apparently Wise has said said player will never play for Leeds again. I hope it's someone shit!

The WACCOE forums have named practically everyone as a suspect now. I think it might be Derry though, since he used to be Palace and Butterfield was the best man at his wedding. That's a shame, he was a hard worker. We'll see how it turns out.

Predictably, this week has been another shambles for Leeds United. They can't even do a 'mole scandal' properly.

I switched off the radio after the Palace game quite content with the win and went about my business. The first I heard of this treachery was your post, tommydski. My eyes rolled. They couldn't just win and leave it, could they?

So, having declared that the guilty player would never play for the club again, Leeds admitted yesterday that they don't actually know who the player is. Apparently they had a team meeting and offered him the chance to own up, like a fucking school assembly or something. Noone stepped forward. Wise says "the boys are bubbly". I bet they fucking are.

The most plausible scenario I've heard is that Derry went to the Crystal Palace hotel to see old friends from his former club, or spoke to them on the phone; and mentioned that he wouldn't be in the team the next day, and so-so was playing instead.

The most ridiculous scenario I've heard is that it's all an elaborate scheme to frame Gary Kelly and find cause to sack him, saving the club the last four months of (expensive) contract.

Whatever happened, Leeds United have handled it with their usual lack of grace. Also, they've closed the club shop outlets in Leeds city centre and the White Rose shopping centre. Another notch on the bedpost of decline.

Sly Bug, I haven't had chance to watch the most recent videos you've posted yet, but I did run that story about the ear-plaster through Google translator. It had me chuckling at work, as Google translations always do! It was a smart, non-violent way of fucking with an opponent, that's for sure.

Oh, and Bolton against Arsenal in the FA Cup last night was a damn good game. Ivan Campo is funny, last minute equalisers are brilliant, and the two Arsenal forwards sprinting in the last minute from the half way line towards a Bolton defence - of Jussi Jaaskalainen on his own - was painful to watch, but sort of a great way to end.

The shame of being a Hearts fan:

And in a veiled attack on the Scottish media, Romanov said: "Now it has become obvious to me why you, the Monkeys, were trying to ruin Hearts not only in the Championship, but in European competitions as well.

I just wish this man would wake up one morning and realise how many people he's upset, and leave.

Or maybe he'll just read his post: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/teams/h/heart_of_midlothian/6198065.stm

West Ham got spanked 4-0 by Charlton today. Charlton are managed by our ex-manager Alan Pardew, who should never have been sacked. We are managed by Charlton's ex-ex-manager Alan Curbishley, who doesn't have what it takes to stop West Ham playing like shit cunts. We are getting relegated this season. At least then we can shed a few losers and start again from basics.

Fucking West Ham. They are forever blowing.....

Not having Ashton has hurt West Ham greatly this year. But the other thing that's been a bit of a mindfuck to the team has been the whole Tevez/Mascherano thing, and I have no idea what's happened to Reo-Coker, but he's not even 1/10th the player he was last season. He apparently thinks he should be somewhere else. Despite Zamora's good run of form at the start of the season, I have to put it down to luck, there were some very fortunate (and ugly) goals that went down in his name, and overall I really just don't think he's good enough.

Pardew should have been kept until the end of the season, but too late for that now. West Ham will probably go down, but given a bit of time, Curbishley will build West Ham into a team of perennial lower mid-table achievers. But it will take him a season or two to get you back into the Premier League.

Too bad you don't have a little bit of Italian Fascist Di Canio magic waiting in the wings. It could have saved you. Especially from Paul Alcock. Lord he was entertaining (Di Canio, not Alcock) .

The only hint of light for West Ham is that Curbishley is their manager. Whatever happens this season, he is well equipped to sort them out the next. And it'll need some sorting out alright.

I was unsure about staying up to watch the Carling Cup Final highlights tonight - they're on well after bedtime - but having listened to it on the radio, I'm excited to watch the fight, and John Terry getting his face bruck.
