"funhouse" and "vs." remind me a lot of eachother.
well, not really, but they got a couple things in common.
overproduced first album, and a crazy live in the studio follow up.
plus the best song on each (by best i mean most steadily rocking) is the album opener.
anyways, i can't pick as i don't know who wrote what.
i know pete did "learn how" and i like that one. i also like "secrets" and "einstein's day."

who wrote "tremelo?"
and aren't they almost the same song?

Roger wrote tremelo. Because, guess what, he has the tremelo. And no, they are only the same in that they use the tremelo. First one is much more rockin'.
Tremelo is a strange word.
Also, I picked Clint but would choose Prescott given the choice

I'm pretty sure Clint wrote "Tremelo." Roger wrote "Trem Two." And no, they're aren't almost the same song. Not at all!
I never really appreciated "Tremelo" until I downloaded the Snapshot EP.

you are correct...though i forget quite how "Tremolo" goes (as The Horrible Truth about Burma is one of those cds i forget to listen to in lieu of the studio album+ep...but i should listen to it more because the cover of "Heart of Darkness" is quite possibly even better than the original! no mean feat!) but i know it's not nearly as good as "Trem Two" as that's one of my favoritest songs ever...

19I don't know who wrote what either; so both, or all, or whoever wrote the majority of these:
"Mica" (GREAT)
"Forget"
"Peking Spring"
"Trem Two" (Miller)
"Einstein's Day" (Prescott?)
"That's How I Escaped My Certain Fate"
