Black Helicopter guy here...doing a little DIY tour thingy. We have a line on an open night at The Note in Chicago on March 13th, which is a Tuesday. The kicker is that in order to book this show we need to find two bands from the Chicago area who are willing to play with us. Since this is only a couple of weeks down the road here, we are kind of grasping at straws to get this wrapped up quickly before the night is released.

If anyone has any suggestions, (different venues, existing situations that we could get involved with or band suggestions especially) let 'em rip. We are low hassle and decent guys and we will buy you a beer and be respectful to your lady friends and not bitch about money or be primadonnas or any of that shit. I know this board isn't myspace or anything, and the last thing people want is to have a newbie on here begging, but we're in a pinch. It won't happen again, I promise. Thanks. I used to work with Matt from Black Helicopter long before the band existed when I lived in Boston and I can say for a fact that he is good shit. I can only assume his bandmates are too.

BH is the bastard offspring of two of my favorite Boston bands from the 90s - Kudgel and Green Magnet School! We played many shows with them, and were on the same "record label" as Kudgel. Mark E. was always one of my favorite performers. (he's not in BH)
