Electric Turn To Me is no more. Blake was the drummer for Mars Volta (again...he was their original drummer years ago) recently and had a falling out with them after a couple of shows, er, concerts, and now is back in Brooklyn supposedly doing something with Gibby Haynes (!).

Sweet jesus! That Gibby news is wild. A friend of mine swore he saw Gibby on the subway. I didn't believe him.

I don't think anyone will miss Electric Turn to Me.

Colossamite was a great band that I never got to see.

ed rodriguez is also playing bass for xbxrx, at least thru the release of the new record.

was that last string of mexico dates his last tour with xb? i know vice is doing hawnay troof in europe right now, so theyre not playing for the next month or two. weasel is moving to bass and my ex drummer, michael, has been learning the parts to the new record for tour in april/may. i hear ed will still be playing guitar in Double Rainbow, but his gorge trio/luttenbachers/everything else days are over.
