Stone Temple Pilots have some good songs. I don't know many bands that have taken more shit than them. Timing is everything.

Guys...I can understand the hometown aversion to the "American Radiohead," but Wilco is fucking smart and will hold up well in the future. A Ghost is Born is really good. I saw an extremely engaging performance of theirs in 2004 (I'm pretty sure it was '04).

Wolf Eyes have some good stuff. Live, they are good musically, but their presence is a bit much, if you know what I mean. (The sunglasses, stage antics etc.)
