Stinky, my cat of over 20 years of age, died a short while ago. It killed me so bad that I went grey. Seriously.

But yes, cats can live over twenty years when you take the best care of them (which in most cases is as easy as giving them food, pets, and respect - and a leg to chew on once in a while).
