Seconded.

Simone showing up next week, apparently alive, is probably just a feint - a dream or something, perhaps a vision? Remember: Peter has come into contact with Hiro. It's conceiveable that he may possess some limited time-traveling abilites and attempts to go back and stop the shooting. Nikki/Jessica is, as stated previously, the weakest and most annoying thread that is currently being followed. There are some pretty cool characters in the arc though. D.L. would probably be a lot cooler if he was the criminal/gangsta he was supposed to be (remember D.L.'s "crew" with the freaking skull rings? Yeah, at this point in time I don't believe he was part of any kind of gang). Micah is all right - kids just bug me, so it's an unfair bias. Mohinder hasn't been irritating me as much (ever since they got rid of his retarded opening monologue), but a lot of people are wondering why he's not completely suspicious of "Zane" (Sylar). Personally I think (hope) he knows what's going on and the syringe we see preparing for "Zane" may in fact be something to suppress his powers.

DUDE! You've started me thinking that Peter's vision dreams are a result of his absorbing Hiro's time-travel power. HRM.

ok i just finished episode 5, and i think i'm going to sneak another episode (without my sig. other, which means i'll be watching it again later tonight, by demand) but... i just read the character descriptions on IMDB -- the powers -- as a small spoiler and... what? nikki's possessed by her evil dead sister? what the wack is that? that is barely even a power. it's a possession. i hope things start going better there. man, and sarah--america's little audrey tautou---kills herself? what the wack is that!???

KENOKI! DON'T READ THIS! JUST WATCH THE SHOW!! =)

I don't think that's the case but on this show, I wouldn't bank on anything. I just remember that the opening sequence of the first episode was one of his dreams, which is before he met Hiro as far as we know. Also he had a dream about Nathan's car crash in "Six Months Ago".

I wanted to ask a question about last week's episode - when Peter stopped the Haitian's taser, was he using telekinesis - or slowing down time? I originally thought it was TK, but after watching it again I think he's slowing down time. 3 things make me think that - 1) The taser rattle makes a noise as though it is slowing down (or time is slowing down) and it stops in midair temporarily before falling to the ground. 2) They show HRG and the Haitian in the background and neither of them are moving, and 3) Hiro does the same thing later that episode when he stops the bullet.

Interesting thing about this theory though - he was touching Claude when this happened, and Claude was still moving - which means perhaps Hiro can take people with him through time?

Very interesting indeed...

I had forgotten about the dreams he had before meeting Hiro. I guess that means i need to go back and re-watch the series again. Ha!

I had thought Peter used TK to stop the taser, but then the Television Without Pity recap claimed it was time-stoppage, so i dunno. As far as taking people with him through time, i don't see why that couldn't happen--after all, when Peter met FutureHiro, time was frozen around him, but he let Peter move and speak.

Lame. Very Lame. About as bad as a soap-opera can get.

Each fucking week it's, "all the questions are answered this week". Each fucking week. The only thing this show does is make questions that will never be answered.

See, this is the kind of Frankenstein that happens when you focus group each and every show. The script is written by a bunch of people that can show up in the mid-afternoon on a weekday to sit in a room for a few hours and give opinions about a television show and then be paid in the area of 10 bucks and hour to do it.

This is the kind of tripe American eats now - and it's way worse then actually eating tripe. :) I'm no fan of offal.

Crap on all levels (except the cheerleader has a freaky snappin' body).

well, wasn't she in the vision peter had of the end of the nyc (where peter explodes--i'm assuming from coming in contact with radiation boy)? all super people, except for her... i'm thinking she is probably a little bit super herself. i mean, jessica is dead yet she's able to maintain some power...

oh and re: his dreams... remember, charles, simone's pa, had that dream about peter and friends saving the world before he died--is it just a matter of coinkeedink, detiny dealing charles a comforting card before he expired, or maybe he was latenetly (?) "special" too... we're talking about things being passed down... themigration patterns or whatever. claire's parents had power. i assume peter and nathan's dad was special... and destiny seems to be playing a heavy role in everyone coming together... so either simone was just the link between peter and mendez (maybe, but doubtful) or there is something more...
