As bad as Rush Limbaugh is, I equally detest the left-wing radio pundits like Randy Rhodes (not the Ozzy guitarist) and that guy from the midwest with his dog named Buck who sounds exactly like Rush.

These left-wing pundits will continue this myth about how the Democrats will save the planet, stick up for the poor, and whatnot.

Hmmm... Clinton seemed to stick up for Walmart much more than the poor, unless you consider cutting welfare to be of benefit to the poor.

Anyway, it's all checks and balances. Not meaning the phony checks and balances between the branches of government... Things have to get much worse before there will be real change. Sure, the Democrats will throw the working man a bone once in a while (I guess this is better than nothing), but only Edwards said he would remove the tax benefit that corporations get for offshoring American's jobs (this is not a case of a free market -- offshoring is subsidized by the government... Your tax money is going to pay for the elimination of your job, and most Democrats are OK with this).

The statistics on unemployement are severely flawed. They stop counting people as unemployed as soon as they drop off of the unemployment benefit payroll. There is a much higher unemployment rate than the 4.9% or whatever it is now...

Anyway, things will get much worse... Beyond the Green party, you will have a rise in extreme left-wing organizations. Then, much like FDR was pretty much forced to institute the new deal, Democrats will be forced to act like the liberals they pretend to be.

We are still a long way off from that, but the way things are going, it will happen. Beyond the working class, you will have (and currently do have) a fair amount of college educated people who can't find jobs.
