Hello old friends,
Sorry I haven't been around much lately - I've been super super busy booking my band's European tour for this easter. It's gone pretty well, but so far Paris has proven to be really damn tough to organise. As my lovely parents have already booked train tickets to come and see me, only for the show to fall through, I'm desperately trying to find a replacement date at short notice. Has anyone got any Parisian contacts I could try and persuade to put us on? I know it's a long shot but I'm a at a loss as to what to do.
We are Souvaris, touring with this forum's very own GJ Hardwick in support. We're looking for a show on Saturday April 7th, and will play for a very modest amount of money and some food. We don't even need accomodation. I would be eternally grateful for any help offered!
Listen to us here or here, read about us here, and listen to Gareth Hardwick here.
If anyone would like to contact me directly feel free to private message me or contact me at ichbinsimmo (at) gmail.com.
Oh, and the rest of our gigs lined up so far are:
Avril 5 : Bruxelles avec Thee More Shallows et Fractionnal
Avril 6 : Rouen avec aMute et Gareth Hardwick
Avril 8 : Amiens avec Gareth Hardwick et Miranda
Avril 11 : Bordeaux avec Gareth Hardwick et Sincabeza
Avril 13 : Gérone (Espagne) avec Gareth Hardwick
Avril 15 : Nice avec Gareth Hardwick et 28.50
Avril 16 : Lyon avec Gareth Hardwick
Avril 17 : Nancy avec Gareth Hardwick
Avril 19 : Reims avec Gareth Hardwick et L’Ombre de la Souris
Would love to meet you at any of them!
Thanks very much my lovely EA rockers,
S. x

5Simmo,
For the gig in Paris, contact on my behalf (Sylvain de 28.50 de Nice) Anne-Sophie and Vanessa of Chimères.
http://www.myspace.com/chimeres
Their band has just split but they have many contacts in Paris, they are kind, they're from Cannes, they may help you. They know many venues and bands in the capital. I am sure they will help you if they can.
About the gig on April the 14th, contact Freddy (on my behalf of course), http://www.myspace.com/thedirteez , if you want to play in Marseille. She will help you if she can.
OR
contact Sébastien of Waddle
http://www.myspace.com/waddletherockband to play in Toulon.
Vivement le 15 avril, mon pote!

Tu cartonnes et je t'aime ^_^
I'm gonna try contacting everyone, it's so damn tiring but I'm really damn keen to play in this city.

7(bump!)
Thanks for all your suggestions - in the end we found something. It would be lovely to see any of you there - we could partake in a beer and revel in rock'n'roll!

10additionally, if someone could recommend some fun/exciting places to visit whilst in Gay Paris, that'd be appreciated as we have a day off here!
