22This is too weird because I was wondering about EA people's voices last night when I was lying in bed before dozing off. While I like the phrases suggested (benevolent elephants and premiere rock forum) I vote for one with a larger variety of vowel sounds, so we get the full effect. How about "I'd rather have a bottle in front of me, than a frontal lobotomy" and speak the "A's" as long A's.

If you have Windows:
1. Go Start->Accessories->Entertainment->Sound Recorder
2. If you don't have a mic built in, plug one into the microphone plug on your computer.
3. Hit record, say whatever you want to say, hit stop.
4. Save it, give it a name.
5. If you want to put it up as an mp3, you'll have to use software to convert it. I use this because it's free. You will need to do this if you use putfile.
6. If you have your own web hosting, upload it there. If you don't, go to www.putfile.com and follow the instructions.
7. Type the URL for your sound file into a post, and there you go.
If you have a Mac:
1. I don't know much about Macs, but the commercials lead me to believe that they're a lot easier to use than PCs, so I'm guessing all you need to do is hold down the "Apple" key, sort of shake your head non-committally, and think about your accent, and your post should show up here.
If you have Linux:
1. Like there's anything I can tell you that you don't already know.

Okay - new rule for the got-damn thread. Nobody posts to this thread unless they are posting a link to their accent, or they already have, or they have a very good excuse. That goes double for furriners (because we want to hear your wacky furrin accents). I posted instructions and everything! It won't take you 15 minutes!
