i'm really disturbed by this poll. how can it be possible be that john lennon is actually being beaten by ringo fucking star.

George Martin

I'm going with George as well. John Lennon wrote amazing songs, but he just seemed like such a jerk in all the interviews you see him in, especially the later years of his life.

I read the book "I Me Mine" which Harrison construced from his lyrics and journals, as well as writing new material for it, and I took an instant liking to him. Way down to earth, was an activist without being an ass about it like John, and seemed to be an all around good guy. I vote George.

i'm going with george, but barely, over john. my decision may be the opposite tomorrow.

i was tempted to vote ringo, because if you switch around the letters in his name, you can get "o-ring", which is hilarious. paul was/is a douchebag, and it's unfortunate that he wrote many, many tremendous beatles songs.

Where's the Lennon love? John was easily my favorite Beatle for about a million reasons.

John, though he made lots and lots of mistakes, will always have THE rock and roll voice for me.

At the NuMusic festival, I saw Stereo Total play a song called Ringo, I Love You.

They were thoroughly charming.
