I'm having a problem with some teenagers in our neighbourhood. I'd say they're aged about 16/17.

It started with just shouting bullshit when I walked past, which doesn't bother me. Then last week it elevated to throwing stones while I was waiting for a bus. Then on Sunday three of them rode past on bikes and flicked a lit cigarette at me.

Now everytime I go out, especially getting the bus every day at 3:15, I'm worrying about getting hit in the head with a rock or getting into a fight with 7 kids at once. It's actually bothering me a lot more than it should.

Anyway, I thought this, or something similiar, has probably happened to other people and wondered how you dealt with it.

There's always ignoring them but these cunts seem like they're not gonna give up that easily.

I'd say find out where they live then brick up their doorways. Or post frogs through their letterboxes, or maggots or something.

why are they fucking with you in the first place? what did you do to piss them off? or is it just the way you carry yourself that irks them?

either way, you are going to have to REALLY fuck one up, maybe a crack across the face with something, a pipe or tree branch maybe....do that in front of the others and they will never come near you again.

Or call the cops on them and make something up, say they pulled a knife on you and tried to rob you.

first of all dont call the cops. never call the cops. they only make shit worse and makes peoples lives miserable. unless your rich and white which i assume you arnt or you would have called the cops already. second of all dont take that other advice and refer to them as cunts. its a really inappropriate and offensive word like the n word. ive been in similar situations alot in my city. got some rocks thrown at me on my bike the other day. ive had really good luck approaching them with totally passive body language and straight up asking why they do it. just look them in the eyes and be polite but straight foward. this often makes them uncomfortable as its not what they are used to. they might curse you out for pushing them out of theyre comfort zone, but they will also think about your question. for me i think the awnser is often that im white and seen as a potential intruder or threat to the community. i think this is totally understandable and is probably how i would feel if the roles were reversed. try not to judge. kids are fucking oppressed every day. no one really listens to their struggles and theyve got no place to put all thier energy and angst. teen agers especially are usually just scared shitless of the world and they need approval and love, which is why they almost always act this way in groups. id also say try really hard not to retaliate. if you are actually attacked learn some pressure points or quick take downs. usually if you quickly quietly and confidently drop one of them that will be the end of it. by try not to hurt anybody, except cops of course. just kidding.

Yeah start with alerting the police so you have the first "ins" if shit hits the fan. Then when they fuck with you again, go apeshit, completely bonkers like you're gonna draw buckets of blood. it might be good to pack pepper spray if you get behind on the ass-kicking. Give them a good-natured beat-down and they will either respect you or murder you in your sleep.
